Auschwitz in the snow
In February, two Barry Comprehensive School Year 12 students, Seren Ewington and Cain Gannon, with Ms.Bertheux, took part in the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Lessons From Auschwitz project.

Year 7 Star Readers
At Barry Comprehensive School all pupils are encouraged to read books at a suitable level.
At the end of each term, pupils in year 7 and year 8 take an online Star Reader quiz.

GCSE – Part of the group at Marloes Sands
Over the past few weeks both the AS and GCSE Geology groups have completed their fieldwork visits to study the spectacular geology of the Pembrokeshire coast.
The Year 12 (AS) students spent two days studying the geology of the area around St. Davids. They studied the evidence for both volcanic and tectonic activity in the area, also taking measurements of the intense folding and faulting. Continue reading

Amazing Solar System Homework
Barry Comprehensive School’s year 7 pupils were asked to produce a piece of homework depicting “The Solar System”, a topic they had been studying as part of the Science Curriculum.
