The Performing Arts Faculty at Barry Comprehensive School once again showed the wealth of talent that is alive within the school, as pupils from across the age ranges staged fantastic shows, over two wonderful evenings of music and performance.
Barry Comprehensive School has been a long-standing supporter of LATCH, delivering presents to the Oncology Clinic at Llandough Hospital for many years and now continuing to support the Children’s Hospital at the University of Wales Hospital in Cardiff.
On Wednesday 18th December students from Barry Comprehensive challenged the stereotype by taking on Zumba. Andrea Jones took the boys through their paces teaching them Latin hand and hip action.
Last week, students and staff at Barry Comprehensive School joined in with Save the Children’s ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ event. School jumpers were decorated with tinsel, baubles and lights or swapped entirely for a woolly with a festive theme.
