Barry Comprehensive School sixth form students and their teachers are celebrating another outstanding set of A Level results.

The majority of students have earned a place at their first choice of University, despite the fierce competition for top institutions and courses.

 

Particular individual achievements include:

  • Jeff Bevan achieved grades A A A A and will be studying Politics at Cambridge or Bath
  • Ben Callow achieved grades A A A B and will be studying Geology at Southampton
  • Tom Ellis achieved grades A A A and will be studying Medicine at Cardiff
  • Charlotte Harris achieved grades A* A A and will be studying Cancer Biology and Immunology at Bristol
  • Pria Ismail achieved grades A A A and will be studying Politics and International Studies at Exeter
  • Luke James achieved grades A* A A A and will be studying English and French at Warwick
  • Rosie-Loup James achieved grades A A A and will be studying Medicine after a gap year
  • Lewis Jenkins achieved grades A* A A B and will be studying Mathematics and Accountancy at Exeter
  • George Scott achieved grades A* A A and will be studying French and Linguistics at Oxford
