Austin Kay is going to study Physics at Swansea University

Barry Comprehensive School sixth form students are celebrating another outstanding set of A Level results.

Headteacher Gerard McNamara said, ‘Teachers and governors are delighted with the A Level results. The A level or equivalent pass rate of 98% reflects the dedication and hard work of the students. Hard work pays off, for example Austin Kay, who achieved 2 A* and 2 A grades and is going to study Physics at Swansea University; Ben Rose who achieved 4 As will study Medicine at Keele University. 100% of students who applied for university secured a place. I am very proud of all our students and wish them every success in the future.’

  • Luke Brown will be studying Geology at Cardiff University
  • Taylor Hinchly will be studying Bio Chemistry at Cardiff University
  • Harry Goule will be studying Aerospace Engineering at Swansea University
  • Elizabeth Scott will be studying Business Management Swansea University
  • Thomas Butler-Sainsbury will be studying Primary Education at the University of Chester
  • Rhys Evans will be studying Civil Engineering at Cardiff University
