Members of the Year 9 Football Team receiving the Army Shield from Antonia Forte and Gerard McNamara
Barry Comprehensive School’s Annual Presentation Evening was a resounding celebration of success with over 160 students being nominated for awards. These awards were for academic, sporting, artistic and personal success across the entire curriculum.
Holding the awards at Barry Memorial Hall highlighted the special nature of the evening and provided our talented musical students with the opportunity to showcase their recitals within a truly impressive venue.
Mr Lyn Howell, former staff member and a local resident, returned to compere whilst Mr Gerard McNamara (Headteacher), Ms Antonia Forte (Chair of Governors) and special guests presented the awards.
As a school we are proud of the close partnerships between school and community and it is the continued support of parents that allows us to continue to build on success. We look forward to celebrating another successful year with the summer examination results.
