Christmas Jumper Day at Barry Comprehensive supporting Children in Need

On the last day of term students and staff at Barry Comprehensive School supported the Save the Children Christmas Jumper day.  Students donated £1 each to wear a festive jumper.

As part of their Welsh Baccalaureate community challenge, Christmas helpers Will Drew, Jack Cummings and Joseph O’Sullivan raised money by taking photographs of staff and students and collected donations throughout the day.

The school raised £200 for Save the Children, an international children’s charity based in the UK which supports both emergency and long-term relief and development projects.
