Christmas came early for some lucky boys in years 7, 8 and 9 at Barry Comprehensive School.
The now famous ‘In it to win it’ draw took place on the last day of term for the expectant students. Raffle tickets were accumulated since September, with tickets being awarded for effort in class, excellent behaviour and high attendance.
Three lucky pupils gained prizes ranging from high tech tablet computers to selection boxes and other assorted goodies. The ‘In it to win it’ draw was introduced to promote high standards throughout KS3 and the next draw will take place on the last day before Easter.
Of course only boys on Santa’s good list can obtain the tickets. The more tickets, the more chance you have of taking away a prize. So we will pass the baton to the Easter bunny, with all boys having a chance to win next term. Remember if they’re in, they can win!
