Barry Comprehensive School was once again well represented at the Formula 1 in Schools regional competition at Swansea University by two strong teams on Thursday 24 March.

The Awesome Atoms won Best Engineered Car in their Rookie class, for pupils who have not competed in the event before and came a credible second overall in their event. BCS Racing continued their successful run in their competition with Oliver Bartlett the only remaining team member from previous years stepping up to team manager and leading new recruits Benjamin Eddy and Michael Todd.  BCS racing won Best Engineered Car, Fastest Car and came third overall meaning they will go forward to represent Wales at Silverstone in the F1 in Schools National Finals.

A fantastic result for both teams and their teacher Mr Hawkins!
