Barry Comprehensive School’s Rugby 7s U13 team will be tackling their packed fixture list in fine style thanks to the generosity of Jamie Sylvester, Manager of Macron Store Cardiff and David Alison, of New Broad Street Motors Barry. Jamie supplied the stunning kit which New Broad Street Motors kindly sponsored to help with the funding of the busy rugby schedule.

The team unveiled the kit at the Barry Invitational Sevens on the weekend where they reached the final of the 32 team tournament and will be wearing it next week at the Urdd Welsh National Sevens in Llanelli and then at the Rosslyn Park National Sevens in London the following week.

Coach Mr Manley said, “We are very grateful to Jamie and David, both successful local businessmen, for all of their support. It is a huge help and means our players look and feel the part. We are aiming to give all our teams the opportunity to compete against the elite rugby schools from all over the UK. The 7s tournaments offer a great experience for the players on and off the field and I believe that taking part allows the boys to grow not only as players but also as well rounded people.”
