Barry Comprehensive School was proud to join schools and offices across the UK last Friday to support the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Students, parents and staff contributed cakes which Sixth Formers students sold to eager students at break time. Many staff also baked and submitted a mouth-watering selection of cakes to the Cake Competition.
The school was delighted to welcome guests to the Learning Resource Centre to join in with the fundraising including former staff, members of the Better Readers group and Jane Hutt AM.
The morning was a great success and raised £250 for Macmillan, a very worthwhile charity.
