Barry Comprehensive School sixth form students are celebrating another outstanding set of A Level results.

Headteacher Gerard McNamara said, ‘Teachers and governors are delighted with the A Level results.  The dedication and hard work of the students has been rewarded.  The majority of students achieved the qualifications required for their next stage of the learning journey.  We wish them all every success in the future.’

Particular individual achievements include:

  • Matthew Williams achieved grades A* A* A* A and will be taking a gap year before studying Medicine
  • Elliot Clissold achieved grades A* A A and will be studying Medicine at St George’s, University of London
  • Jacques Sloman achieved grades A* A A and will be studying Medicine at Cardiff University
  • Joshua Albertides achieved grades A A A and will be studying Biochemistry at Cardiff University
  • Isaac Mayne achieved grades A A A and will be studying English at the University of St Andrews
  • Luke Wiltshire achieved grades A A B and will be studying Exploration and Resource Geology at Cardiff University
