School sport competitions begin thick and fast at the start of term and the new year 7 pupils led the way with cross country.

All boys from year 7 competed in the inter-house competition, where they gain points for their house. The race was exciting to the very finish with Panayoty securing third place, Tom taking second and Drew triumphing with the fastest time in the whole year group. Continue reading

Barry Comprehensive School is delighted to announce that, for the second year running, our GCSE results are the highest in the school’s history.

62% of our students achieved at least 5 A*-C grade GCSEs including English and Maths, and 90% of students achieved at least 5 A* -C grades.
